Exciting!
Could be worth being explicit about the different meanings of “discover” in this context:
- to learn something that is already well known (as I do with almost every QS project),
- figure out which solution works for me (often), and
- actually discover something new (maybe once in a lifetime).
What is holding people back from doing the above? I like to think it’s the tools, but maybe not.
I’d love to see an ecosystem that doesn’t rely solely on volunteers and grants in the long run (>90% of contributions to the “peer production” poster child Linux now come from companies)
