I am a multi-time heart attack survivor, stroke survivor, have had several kidney stones, and colonoscopies due ulcerative colitis. I have so many health issues, you could say I am a frequent user of medical imaging. My extended family is similar.
I would like to find ways for patients to be given a simple set of visual images with simple numbers as part of the radiology report that is standard. For comparison, biomarker reports in blood and urine are simple and easy to interpret reports, despite the complex biochemistry involved.
I have led embedded software through two class ii FDA clearances and have consulted for AI and data science startups since then.
My team is going through the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps course at UC Davis, and would like to find out more about the pain points you face in dealing with radiology. We are not selling anything, and would just like 15 minutes to talk about the things you are dealing with.
