I have Powermax BCA 130 Body Scanner. It shows two indicators viz Skeletal Muscle % and Muscle Mass in KG. whenever my Skeletal Muscle % increases, The Muscle mass in KG is decreases. This is not clear to me. Is anyone help in this matter?
Id guess the following:
Muscle mass consists of: Visceral muscle (found inside internal organs), Cardiac muscle (located in the heart) , Skeletal muscle (muscle controlled consciously)
I’d be sceptical though for all the devices that measure muscle mass through bioimpedance ! It can be highly inaccurate based on your water consumption
