Hello QS! I just thought I would introduce myself.
I am a first year PhD student in Australia investigating nutrition and Alzheimer's disease. I have a particular focus on neuropsychological testing, neuroimaging and dietary intervention/observation studies. Last year I became interested in whether the combination of coffee and/or walking my dog in the morning/afternoon affected my cognition/mood in the morning and this lead me down the rabbit hole of self quantification. I am particularly interested in self monitoring and taking advantage of the so called Hawthorne effect to optimise my daily routine.
Today I begin tracking my diet (fitbit), sleep (fitbit), exercise (fitbit) and time usage throughout the day. I am also interested in including cognition into the model.
Thanks and look forward to meeting/discussing,
