I was sent this article tonight, which introduces a new quantified self tool known as “OpenHabitTracker”. The article was easy to read, as well as informative, so I checked out the website and web app.
Both of which are relatively minimal, in terms of the UI. But such is probably best, as users aren’t generally looking for much beyond a clean user interface and applicability. Below you will find a screenshot of the web app’s main page/dashboard:
Earlier today I was introduced to a new free and open source habit tracker, called “redoit!”.
Here are a few links to give you context:
Below is a screenshot from the primary website homepage, as it stands today:
It is interesting to me to now have found two recently launched, free and open source habit trackers. If we find a third one, perhaps there we can expect even more? I am assuming that is what happens, but two might be a coincidence.
Any of them mention analysis beyond Pearson correlation? Say things like Granger causality or unit root or changepoint detection?

Those are good questions. Unfortunately the answer for both of the apps appears to be “no”.
The “OpenHabitTracker” and “Redoit” apps are likely much simpler than more established options/software.
