Research on data and death- seeking participants

What does it mean to mourn in the digital age?

I’m getting my PhD in Medical Anthropology from UCSF/UC Berkeley, and my dissertation research explores mourning and digital technology. I’m seeking out people who are have a collection of data from a friend or loved one who has passed away. I’m interested in learning more about how digital data is used (or not) by those who are left behind. If your loved one was a member of the Quantified Self community or otherwise collected data on him- or herself, please consider sharing what this data has meant to you. I would also appreciate any assistance in locating people for whom this post might be relevant.
