I track my nutrition with MFP and have been frustrated with the difficulty in figuring out what to eat that fits my calorie & macro budget as the day progresses and especially when I need to eat out.
So I created Meal Hunter! Note: it only works well in the US.
How it works
1. In "search" box, enter the brand or restaurant or dish name you want to narrow your results to.
-- Leave it blank if you don't care about narrowing it down in this way.
2. Give it a calorie and/or macro range
3. Pick what type of food you are looking for: recipes, restaurant, packaged or basic/raw
And boom! It'll return you which foods fit.
Please try it out and use the "thumbs down"/"feedback" buttons, Disqus forum, or just reply to this thread to let me know what you think!
Alongside your specific feedback, it'd be helpful for me to know which bucket you fall into:
A. I don't have a need for this.
B. I wouldn't use this until it supports ____.
C. I will use this whenever [event].
D. I will use this ___ per [day/week/month].
