I second that. Do not assume that data from a source downloaded one day will be compatiable with data from the same source downloaded later. Am experiencing this with electoral data received from my local council for up-coming elections next month. So far dealing with at least five different and potentially incompatible data file formats — ignoring their use of weakly protected Excel workbooks and ZIP files. Also they data entry clerks are changing inputting conventions almost with every release of a new dataset.
