What is your opinion to use tracking Apps in therapies?

At the moment I’m writing my Bachelor-thesis wiht the topic “Behavior change through digital applications”. Additionally I create an app which supports the therapy of people with an eating disorder. Does anybody has any experience in that field?

The team behind 2Morrow has done quite a bit of research in this area, and may be worth talking to. Their focus has been on smoking cessation, but they’re looking into eating disorders, too.
