Hey Barry, I’ve used the foam earplugs for sleeping and work for decades. They work ok but I need a break from them periodically because the slight pressure that they put on the ear canal begins to hurt. Fortunately I recently discovered silicone ear plugs. These are an improvement over even the best foam ear plugs, for me anyway. They block sound better, are more comfortable, are washable, and stay in better.
